KI Group is a specialist provider to the Mining, Construction, Oil Industrial and Oil & Gas Sectors.

We are currently seeking reliable Karratha based Operators preferably with previous experience and/or basic mining skills but who are versatile allrounders with a hands-on approach/attitude.

Role Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to maintain the technical responsibility for the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of the Karratha Gas Plant Waste Water Treatment Plant Facility. The purpose will be to control the quality of the environmental and operational activities in the WWTP to ensure optimal production outcomes, as well as managing all relevant environmental and operational monitoring and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities will be operating and maintaining the WWTP with the operations team and to review, optimise and plan the maintenance strategy (predictive, preventive, curative, outsourced or in sourced). You will be responsible for generating Maintenance Reports, troubleshooting problems within the WWTP and Systems and monitor maintenance costs and budgets as well as make recommendations for improvement. You must work with the Corporate Asset Management team and Management Team to develop operations and maintenance budgets. You will be tasked to bring state of the art practices to reach high O&M performance, by defining, implementing O&M strategies, establishing, monitoring KPI and benchmarks, providing dedicated leadership and active field support leading to practices changes and continuous improvement. Additional responsibilities will include; maintaining an accurate Asset list of all individual items in VAMS relating to the WWTP, monitoring and reviewing annual O&M Budget for the contract, supporting and assisting in WWTP reporting, preparing EPA Annual Return, advising Management team on plant performance on a monthly basis, providing an annual report on WWTP performance and assets condition and ensuring that stock volumes and materials are adequately maintained.

All suitable candidates must pass a Basic Medical and Drug and Alcohol Screen and submit to random and on-going Drug and Alcohol screening.
