Wellington Based – Oil and Gas – Management – Operations
The Terminal Standards Manager (TSM) role focuses on people management. It involves developing, implementing, and monitoring best operations practices on multiple tank farms across New Zealand. As the company has sites across New Zealand, some travel will be required.
You’ll be working closely with the Terminal Managers to ensure KPIs are tracking correctly and correcting anything preventing them being achieved, while also ensuring the terminals are remaining current and meet the relevant operating requirements through internal audits.
The TSM is also the point of coordination for the annual terminal work program to ensure all scheduled activities are planned and coordinated to meet terminal needs and stakeholder requirements.
The ideal candidate will be someone who understands working on a tank farm and the people who work on them. You’ll be able to communicate effectively with people from all walks of life and have some of the following attributes:
- A number of years’ experience in operations or engineering in the Oil & Gas industry
- Proven experience working in large tank farms is preferred
- Knowledge of plant and equipment and asset management
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering preferred
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental legislation and regulations
