Description

We are looking for a Strategic Account Executive to accelerate our global sales effort. You will work with our sales and leadership team to play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious client acquisition and revenue growth objectives, all the way from customer identification to key account management.

You are an excellent and persuasive communicator who actively conducts discovery, continuously qualifying your prospects and moving them through the sales funnel to close deals. You will be responsible for generating quality leads as well as following up on inbound email and telephone inquiries. You will drive new customer acquisitions and hunt new logos by developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans. You will be responsible for hitting the sales quota and overachieving it. You have experience selling B2B SaaS enterprise products to large enterprises.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, pitch and close new opportunities with Fortune 500 companies
  • Actively source new sales opportunities through cold-calling, emailing & social media
  • Follow up on sales inquiries that are made by potential customers through inbound leads
  • Achieve sales targets on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Use virtual meetings to build relationships with new customers
  • Create a sales pipeline to accurately reflect the relative placement of sales prospects in the purchasing process
  • Demonstrate the unique value proposition of our offering while clearly communicating how it solves the prospect’s expressed needs
  • Use natural curiosity, communication skills, and drive to improve your sales performance

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years’ experience and proven track record of hitting quota and quarterly goals in B2B sales, selling to large enterprise & global companies
  • Bachelors in Business Administration or Management, Marketing or a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with a strong desire to get things done accurately, efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated, driven and has a “go-getter” attitude

Desired Additional Experience

  • Sectors such as water technologies, agrochemicals, oil & gas, renewables and process-related industries
  • Selling Machine Learning SaaS solutions

Location Remote (must work Central Time hours)
