Role Summary:
The candidate will be part of Engineering Technical Tool team. Our mission is the development of Turbo-machine design software and the necessary infrastructure like high performance computers (HPC) and storage systems.
Working in a global environment, the candidate is expected to progressively take the ownership of multiple systems like BHGE proprietary and 3rd party software, and to develop/activate the necessary monitoring systems.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Job scheduler management, configuration and optimization
  • Front end system for job schedule management and analytics
  • New commercial or legacy software setup introduction and
  • Account management and monitoring in accordance to
    restrictive cyber security policy (ISO 27002 and above)
  • Take the ownership of legacy batch script for the execution
    of proprietary software
  • Demonstrate accountability with final users (design
    engineers of turbomachines)
  • Contribute to lead the infrastructure evolution to guarantee
    the refresh and the right performance
  • Guarantee the respect and the implementation of cyber
    security standards (e.g. ISO27002)
  • Guarantee the respect of Quality procedure and lead process
  • Work with GE partners for the infrastructure design and
    upgrade, as well as the operational activities
  • Establish strong connection with other sw/hw BHGE and GE
    infrastructure team (Server Management team, Java Team, Oracle team, network
    team, etc)
  • Provide technical leadership to internal people or Vendors
    during analysis, development, roll-out phases for the assigned project
  • Document technical data generated by the assigned project
    consistent with engineering policies and procedures
  • Provides timely communications on significant issues or

  • Master in Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics or
  • Fluency in English
  • HPC infrastructure, configuration and monitoring matured
  • Good experience of:
    • Scripting language
    • Linux based operating systems
    • NAS and SAN storage management
  • Windows operating system
  • Cyber security matter (ISO 27002)
  • Basic knowledge of Analysis and Simulation tools

Desired Characteristics:
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with execution mindset and
    passion for applied software
  • Experience in sw and hw architecture project management
  • Knowledge in development of Service Oriented application
  • Knowledge of Cloud Oriented
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar
