Job Title: Software Developer (FileMaker)

Innovative Engineering Systems, Inc. dba IES has an excellent career opportunity for a Software Developer interested in FileMaker project development for use in applications in the oil &gas;, food & beverage industries. The successful candidate will create applications in FileMaker and other programming languages for various uses.

- Use FileMaker to design and implement custom applications for industry use.
- 2+ years experience programming in FileMaker Pro v14 and above, including relational design, scripting, report and UI design.
- FileMaker certification a plus.
- IT experience a plus.
- Software development experience a plus.
- Ability to problem solve, address a wide range of programming and technical challenges.
- Understanding of software development best practices.
- Strong understanding of database design and implementation across platforms.
- Ideal candidate would have experience with cross-platform mobile application development.

IES will provide relocation assistance in the form of one or more of the following: temporary transitional lodging, reimbursement or advance against expenses, or per diem.
Reimbursement or advancement will be subject to the terms of a relocation agreement. IES will audit expenses against the relocation agreement and employees must document all receipted expenses claimed for reimbursement.
Final details of relocation assistance will be provided upon offer of position.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. The Bakersfield office is on a 9/8/80 alternative workweek schedule where the regular days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and every other Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This position may require additional hours and/or weekend work.
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
