We are currently looking for a Senior Project Engineer for our London office who will Support the Engineering Manager in the delivery of the engineering effort on a project or in a tender in accordance with Aker Solutions’ values and contractual requirements, and to ensure that other aspects of the project such as procurement, construction, completion and operation are given proper consideration and engineering is controlled and delivered within contractual schedule and budget
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Project start-up and/or develop/implement engineering/project execution plan
Integrity and Compliance Management
Engineering change control coordination along with taks force coordination
Fabrication and/or Hook-Up interface coordination
Contribute, as necessary, to any technical and commercial evaluations/decisions being made related to the project
Support Engineering Management in the direction of resources, systems and methods necessary to produce the engineering design and its documentation in accordance with Project Safety, Quality, Budget/Contract Cost and Schedule requirements
Secure efficient working interfaces with Client representatives, external parties and internal/external stakeholders
Deliver the assigned scope of work in full compliance with contractual requirements, schedule and budget
Qualifications and Personal Qualities
- University degree or relevant education with more than 10 years post graduate experience
minimum 5 years managerial experience from engineering management/supervision positions within FEED, E&P; and EPC projects in Aker Solutions companies
Possesses in-depth knowledge of interdependence relationship between departments and disciplines
Track record from Project Engineer role(s) from a minimum of one FEED, E&P; or EPC oil & gas project with an engineering mhr budget > 500.000 mhrs
