Having gained experience in customer service or a call centre role you are looking to develop your business skills in a business that will encourage your input, welcome your ideas and act on them. That business is AkzoNobel. Home to world class brands such as Dulux and Sikkens, we are re looking for customer service professionals with an eye for detail to deliver a central UK Order Processing Service that delights customers, exceeds expectations and meets service levels.

As a member of the Slough customer service call centre team you will take calls from direct customers ordering products from across our popular range. Your role will be to ensure orders are taken accurately and uploaded onto our system ready for despatch within 24 hours. We will look to you to build strong client relationships and work with sales teams to ensure brand loyalty. In addition, you will resolve customer queries, monitor the effectiveness of our systems and processes and identify ways in which we can improve service delivery.

Job requirements/Candidate profile

To succeed as a Sales Order Coordinator you will have GCSE's including Maths & English or equivalent NVQ/AS level qualifications as well as experience of delivering high standards of customer service, ideally in a call centre environment. You will understand the importance of getting details right first time and are totally customer focussed. Highly numerate, you will possess excellent telephone, communication and IT skills as well as an eye for detail. You will enjoy the challenge of working to tight deadlines and solving problems and are comfortable juggling changing priorities in a fast-moving environment. Experience of SAP is advantageous.
