Keyera is currently seeking an experienced Recruitment Advisor

to join our growing Calgary office for a temporary 6 month

assignment. The Recruitment Advisor is a critical member of our

HR team, working closely with our leaders from across the

organization to ensure that we have the right talent to meet our

future business needs.

THE CANDIDATE

  • The successful candidate is customer focused and

motivated by our internal HR guiding principles of being:

strategic, timely, accurate, and respectful.

  • The Recruitment Advisor has a good read on people and is

passionate about identifying the best candidate for a role

keeping both technical qualifications as well as

organizational fit in mind.

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships within Keyera

as well as externally is critical to long-term success. The

Recruitment Advisor is able and motivated to form those

relationships by regularly visiting our facilities, actively

participating in the Calgary office as well as proactively

meeting with referrals and other external candidates.

  • The successful candidate is well versed in Keyera’s

business and understands how the individual business units

work together to achieve Keyera’s vision of being the North

American leader in delivering midstream energy solutions.

  • Is a team player and someone that can work independently

when required, drawing on 5+ years of industry experience

that is blended between corporate as well as search.

  • Flexibility, adaptability and creativity are all critical to long-

term success. The Recruitment Advisor works closely with

leaders to understand their needs and then works with them

to deliver an approach that is fit for purpose.

based midstream business with

extensive interconnected assets and

depth of expertise in delivering

midstream energy solutions.

gas producers in the Western

Canada Sedimentary Basin including:

  • Raw natural gas gathering and

processing

  • Natural gas liquids (NGL) fractionation,

  • Diluent logistics for oil sands customers

marketing

THE POSITION

  • Support leaders with their recruitment needs in both the

Calgary office as well as our facilities.

  • Focus on full cycle recruitment including: job postings,

candidate sourcing, interviewing, references and offer

letters.

  • Support and participate in Keyera’s campus and summer

student recruitment program as required.

  • Work closely with Senior HR Advisor on compensation

recommendations for external candidates.

  • Work closely with Senior HR Advisor and leaders on internal

transfers and promotions.

  • Communicate with Managers and employees regularly to

establish rapport, gauge moral and source new candidate

leads.

  • Work collaboratively with client groups in exploring needs,

clarifying expectations and recommending changes.

  • Work closely with other HR team members to ensure

consistency in the communication and application of

programs and practices.

  • Work collaboratively with peers to identify, develop and

implement future improvements in Keyera’s recruitment and

selection practices.

  • Actively engage and network with external parties including:

industry peers, agencies, employee referrals as well as

passive external candidates to ensure we have a robust

pipeline of future talent to draw from.
