Engineer is responsible for the Facility Department PET’s overall integrated Planning
and Project Controls, for all FDP Update Projects, FIP and Brownfield Projects,
including the timely execution to agreed schedules for Engineering, Procurement
of Materials and Services, Onshore Fabrication, Offshore Installation and
commissioning of projects in their respective assets.
Engineer’s key responsibilities will include the following:
coordination and integration of all the various onshore and offshore project
activities including all required project controls such as, Project and
Performance Reporting, budget controls, (weekly; monthly; quarterly were
required) WP&B;, AFE, MOC, costs, schedule/planning, risk and technical
development of a comprehensive and integrated project execution plan for all projects
including FDP Update; FIP; Brownfield Tie-in’s and modifications, monitoring
and management of tendering, procurement and contracting activities for LLI’s,
work-scope development and WBS planning, including integrated management of MCM
Contractors and Vendors.

and working with the Facilities Cost Control & Estimating Engineer for
detailed planning and cost phasing, budget approvals etc.
Working with the
Facilities Cost Engineer to provide input and reports on project budgets,
project progress performance including “S” Curves and earned value statements
in line with PPGUA requirements.
Facilities Project Manager on providing and maintaining project risk registers,
decision registers and other management reports, funding and contract approvals
along with project controls communication and reports for PMY Management,
Partners and PETRONAS functions.
will have direct line authority for project management control, regulatory
compliance, quality, cost and schedule for all the project executed by the
Facilities Project Execution Team.

protection into every phase of the project.

Skills and Experience:
should possess a Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
4-7 years’ experience with a strong background in Project Planning and Project Controls
thru Engineering, Execution, Construction and Hook-up/commissioning in the
offshore oil and gas industry. Must have minimum 2 years experiences on asset
improvement and brownfield projects.
Experience in project assignments and the various
project phases including estimating, engineering, procurement, construction,
commissioning and project management and controls.
Exposure in cost and contract administration
including performance measurement and earned value statements, performance
curves and reporting, project cost control and phasing.
Familiar with Petronas standards and project
execution requirements in line with PPGUA and other regulatory bodies and
execution during all project phases. Monitoring and managing projects to ensure
compliance in all aspects to ensure maximum cost recovery and meet Petronas
compliance standards without NCR.
Ability to manage multiple tasks with a high degree
of initiative and independence.
A strong and in depth understanding of project
management methods, tools and procedures.
Attended relevant training related to project
management, quality assurance and controls and /or safety management and hazard
Familiarity in working, estimating and planning, in
an Offshore Brownfield Environment for completing brownfield modifications and
integration of Greenfield Projects into existing facilities and in performing
SIMOPS planning and working with Operations and Asset Teams.
Ability to work with diverse group of people ranging
from technical staff to Subsurface, Drilling and Operations staff and to
compile integrated plans for multiple project executions.
Good communication skills, including oral written
reporting, must be fluent in English and able to complete project progress
reports both professionally and in a timely manner.
