We are looking for a Mechanical Piping Engineer to join the Gladstone team on a permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Gladstone location as it ramps up for a period of significant growth. The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic team that are experienced in building and maintaining strong customer relationships through the ability to deliver technically challenging work in a lean operating environment. This role presents a great opportunity to gain valuable experience across key industry sectors as you gain exposure to Hydrocarbons, Minerals & Metals, and Infrastructure projects.
Supporting Brownfield projects from conception to commissioning
Delivery of engineering design services that exceed client expectations
Detail design including developing drawings and concept sketches
Provide technical support within the discipline team, liaise with the project team and consult with relevant resources as required;
Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions and ask for assistance if required.
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
Industrial brownfields and site experience ideal.
Previous experience across various project phases from concept to detail design in either Mining & Minerals or hydrocarbons favourable.
Demonstrated detail design experience including developing drawings, calculations, datasheets, scopes of work etc.
Able to work effectively in teams and collaborate
