About the Role:
WorkPac are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintainer with Hydrocarbons wastewater treatment systems experience to join the team at Rio Tintoâs Tom Price in the core services/utilities team. The role will be on an 8/6 Roster, Day shift only and is open to applicants FIFO from Perth or Residential to Tom Price. This is an ongoing role with the view to go full time for the right applicant.
In the role you will be responsible for the safe maintenance and operation of the existing physical assets consisting of fuel and lubricants infrastructure and hydrocarbons waste and associated equipment and infrastructure.
Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor you will be;
Performing Routine maintenance inspections on equipment and plant systems
Assisting in identifying defects and providing feedback on asset performance
Safely carry out inspections scheduled maintenance and breakdown maintenance to services assets including;
- Diesel fuel and lubricant infrastructure
- Hydrocarbons wastewater treatment systems
- Compressed air systems
- Portable water treatment and monitoring.
Skills and Experience:
Minimum WA C Class Drivers Licence- HR Preferred
Australian Recognised Trade certificate in Mechanical Fitting
Background in industrial mechanical hydrocarbons maintenance essential
Understanding and knowledge of mining safety systems
High Risk LF, CV, DG, RB Preferred
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and SAP .
