To carry out Maintenance and Repair of Aggreko Power and Temperature Control Fleet on customers sites.

Your key responsibilities:
Core Activities
  • A service per SWI
  • B service as per SWI
  • Be able to carry out control equipment parameter change
  • Possess basic mechanical fault finding skills
  • Be able to carry out generator to generator synchronising
  • Be conversant with technical data and schematics
  • Carry out minor repairs
  • Attend equipment breakdowns
Electrical
  • Basic electrical fault finding < 1500v dc and <1000v ac
  • Be able to operate fleet load bank
  • Low voltage switching
  • Low voltage maintenance
  • Low voltage isolation
  • Low voltage commissioning
Temperature Control
  • TC accessories test procedure
  • A service oil fired heaters as per SWI
  • A service Oil fired boilers as per SWI
  • Basic MC installation
  • Basic TC installation
  • TC controls operation
QHSE
  • Evidence of dynamic risk assessment use
  • LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) used
  • Reports all near misses and any incidents
  • Up to date on all QHSE topics
  • Complies with PPE rules
  • Comply with site rules
Administration
  • Maintain QHSE and legally required documentation
  • Complete all necessary reports on equipment
  • Complete mobility reporting in real time
  • Daily completion of time sheets using Handhelds
  • Comply with Stock Control procedures
  • Complete servicing records
Other
The duties described above cover the main focus of the role, however from time to time you may be required to carry out any other duties which are reasonable and within your abilities to support other areas of the business. This may include but is not limited to Yard Engineering or Field Based Delivery duties as and when the need arises.

  • No equipment overruns in service area
  • No stock control discrepancies
  • Mobility data delivered in real time
  • Reliability of fleet in service area > 90%
  • Fleet in service area meets brand criteria
Sounds like you? Here’s what you’ll need to demonstrate:
Education / Qualifications
  • Time-served Mechanical apprenticeship
  • Alternatively, City & Guilds/ NVQ or equivalent in mechanical engineering
  • If not qualified to above standard, person must still have a good grounding in mechanical engineering and be willing to undertake training to attain these qualifications
Professional skills / experience
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Good level of PC literacy including basic MS Office applications

Personal skills / Experience
  • Well organised and capable of keeping the workplace and company vehicle in good order
  • Committed to maintaining standards in accordance with 5S
  • Able to manage a client’s expectations when under pressure, regardless of the situation
Other Requirements
  • Must hold a full, clean and valid driving licence
  • Must be able to work out of hours as and when required, and be part of the on-call rota
