Responsibilities

  • Electrical Repairs such as, bulb replacement, ballast replacement, fixture replacement, adding electrical outlets, working with electrical contractors.
  • Car wash repairs such as, system maintenance greasing, hydraulic oil top off and filter changes, track welding, hydraulic hose repair, sensors/switch repairs, hydraulic motor repairs
  • Snow plowing and salting, repair and servicing of plow equipment, quotes contractors for night time plowing
  • HVAC maintenance such as filter changing, belt adjustment, greasing. HVAC diagnostics, repairs and quotes for HVAC contractors
  • Work with dealer contractors for used oil and oil filter pick ups
  • Set up all fire alarm, fire extinguisher, fire sprinkler, fire department, back flow, elevator and safety inspections
  • Security alarm repairs, service and obtaining quotes from contractors
  • Work with security camera system and work with security camera company for repairs or upgrades as needed
  • Painting as needed
  • Servicing and repairing overhead doors and interiors doors.
  • Servicing & maintaining floor cleaning machines
  • Cleaning of floor drains and scheduling triple trap cleaning
  • Servicing and maintaining air compressors
  • Service, repair and maintain vehicle lifts. Scheduling yearly lift inspections
  • Plumbing repairs within your abilities
  • Being first contact for fire alarms, police calls and security alarms
  • Maintaining accurate records of all inspections, tests, and repairs
  • Coordinate & oversee grounds, lots & landscaping maintenance
  • Coordinating and making recommendations on work-related contracts and services
  • Supervising outside contractors when needed for mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance
  • Participating, supporting, and complying with all Health, Safety and Quality
Qualifications

  • Must have mechanical and technical aptitude
  • 3-5 years experience in an industrial facility maintenance environment
  • Appropriate training, certifications,etc…
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to use basic measurement instruments such as tape measure, scales, and gauges
  • Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, climb, reach and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Ability to read and write English and perform basic math problems
  • Basic computer knowledge to complete data entry and email
