Working in our Upstream Calgary Research Center will provide the candidate an opportunity to assist us in our important research focus area of environmental reclamation. This exciting position combines technical analysis and hands on lab/field experience. As a lab technician assistant the candidate will perform laboratory research on an exciting new potential technology to produce a value add geotechnical product from some of our hardest to treat tailings. As an Environmental Research assistant the candidate will employ analytical skills to assist in field research trials to understand reclamation trajectories using gas flux measurement in wetlands, studying vegetation establishment and effectiveness of soil amendments in reclamation practices. There will be a component of field work at one or more of our field sites.
