Were working hard to create value for people today and shape the future of energy tomorrow.We are currently looking for a Skilled Electrical & InstrumentationTechnician to join our operations team, ensuring the high-pressure pipeline system continues to be protected/maintained.As this role covers the West region (an hours drive radius from Warwick), you wont be based out of a site so travel and some overnight stays will be essential

As an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I;) Technician you will:

  • Undertake E&I; maintenance, inspection and repair of the various E&Iequipment; on our Compressor Stations,and Above Ground Installations (AGIs) within the assigned geographic area.
  • Maintain accurate site maintenance, asset, operational and safe control of operations records of all work activities and operations undertaken to ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulatory requirements
  • Support the construction and commissioning of new assets onto the gas transmission system and other related projects in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Actively develop, review and update emergency, security, safety, operational and environmental plans and procedures to ensure safe and cost-effective operation of plant and equipment.
Key Accountabilities
  • Identify the requirement to replace/upgrade existing plant and equipment as well as participating in the design of minor modifications, and the provision of technical support within discipline and competencies as required.
  • Oversee and inspect work activities undertaken by contractors and working party members where required to provide assurance that technical and safety compliance standards are being maintained and undertaken
  • Undertake competent person role associated with routine and low complex non routine operational procedures
  • Undertake site operations, including isolations and the use of permitry
About You

Task focused: has a structured approach, someone who can understand processes and deliver against a high standard.• Self-motivated: is organised and able to work independently as well as being able to work effectively within a multi-disciplined team.• Adaptable: Youll make informed decisions when on site and report your findings to both internal and external stakeholders at various levels to ensure we continue to provide a world class service.

You will be the go to person for all things Instrumentation, so we are looking for someone who has a proven background withinin Instrumentation.Youll be joining a committed and dynamic team so having both the ambition and knowledge to drive excellence within this customer focused environment is key!

Knowledge & Experience required
  • Knowledge and experience gained within an engineering discipline of Instrumentation
  • Experience in fault diagnosis and rectification
  • Good understanding of appropriate legislative requirements, standards and instructions
  • Familiar with the use of permitry systems

What You'll Get

A competitive salary between £32,868- £38,668 dependent on capability alongside a access to a livered vehicle & callout allowances

As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
