This role coordinates, manages and handles gas sales and trading transactions for key commercial and industrial accounts. Interfaces with key accounts and originates new business. Coordinates and establishes gas contracts, confirmations / term sheets and interfaces with legal. Performs daily updates related to gas sales and purchase transactions on the Nucleus risk management system and resolves exceptions. Interfaces with Retail gas supply team on gas purchases. Contacts and develops new key accounts and updates prospect listings. Develops gas load and revenue forecasts. Provides daily market updates to key accounts. Checks monthly billing statements and insure bills are accurate. Responds and resolves billing inquiries with key accounts. Collects payments on delinquent accounts. Prepare information for customer credit reviews.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
3+ years of related experience
Knowledge of natural gas industry.
Knowledge of LDC and transmission pipeline operations, operating facilities, and marketing areas
Knowledge of LDC tariffs and capacity release procedures
Knowledge of effects of operating decisions on profitability and competitiveness
Understanding of contracting procedures and principles
Understanding of marketing concepts and economic analysis
Understanding of operational balancing agreements, upstream pipelines and operations
Ability to communicate effectively and sell new accounts
Ability to multi taskAbility to establish and maintain rapport with key accounts
Ability to plan and organize work
Ability to operate personal computer
Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor
