Reporting to the Industrial Services Manager with direct accountability to the Group General Manager for SA & NT, you will be responsible for developing and growing new and existing opportunities within our Industrial Services business across South Australia and the Northern Territory.
Working with Tier 1 clients within the oil and gas, mining and heavy industrial sectors, you are an excellent communicator with a strong track record of delivery. You will have experience in managing large contracts, identifying new business opportunities and delivering excellent outcomes.
Developing and implementing business plans to build new and existing opportunities
Tender writing, capability statements
Managing current major clients
Identifying and actively pursuing revenue opportunities in new markets
Identifying and delivering cost savings initiatives for both Veolia and our clients
Effectively linking sales with operations and ensuring the best outcomes are delivered
Proactively monitoring, managing and resolving queries
Maintaining effective relationships at all levels
Compiling financial data and preparing reports and recommendations
To be successful you will need:
A track record of success in winning and delivering major contracts
Experience in managing large contracts
Proven people management skills
Excellent presentation skills
Strong negotiation, communication and relationship building skills
Track record in building and delivering sales and BD plans
High level of financial skills and business acumen
Project planning and problem solving skills
A genuine commitment to safety and sustainability
Knowledge of heavy industry, transport, waste, water or a similar sector
High degree of computer literacy
A flexible approach with the ability to travel as required
Tertiary qualifications in Business or a related discipline (desirable)
