Reporting to the Industrial Services Manager with direct accountability to the Group General Manager for SA & NT, you will be responsible for developing and growing new and existing opportunities within our Industrial Services business across South Australia and the Northern Territory.

Working with Tier 1 clients within the oil and gas, mining and heavy industrial sectors, you are an excellent communicator with a strong track record of delivery. You will have experience in managing large contracts, identifying new business opportunities and delivering excellent outcomes.

Responsibilities include:
  • Developing and implementing business plans to build new and existing opportunities
  • Contract negotiations
  • Tender writing, capability statements
  • Managing current major clients
  • Identifying and actively pursuing revenue opportunities in new markets
  • Identifying and delivering cost savings initiatives for both Veolia and our clients
  • Effectively linking sales with operations and ensuring the best outcomes are delivered
  • Proactively monitoring, managing and resolving queries
  • Maintaining effective relationships at all levels
  • Compiling financial data and preparing reports and recommendations

Qualifications

To be successful you will need:
  • A track record of success in winning and delivering major contracts
  • Experience in managing large contracts
  • Proven people management skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation, communication and relationship building skills
  • Track record in building and delivering sales and BD plans
  • High level of financial skills and business acumen
  • Project planning and problem solving skills
  • A genuine commitment to safety and sustainability
  • Knowledge of heavy industry, transport, waste, water or a similar sector
  • High degree of computer literacy
  • A flexible approach with the ability to travel as required
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business or a related discipline (desirable)
