WorleyParsons is seeking to appoint a Contracts Administrator to negotiate terms and conditions on existing contracts as well as preparing and monitoring contracts and monitoring performance and delivery. 




WorleyParsons is seeking to appoint a Contracts Administrator to negotiate terms and conditions on existing contracts as well as preparing and monitoring contracts and monitoring performance and delivery. 


Key responsibilities include:

  • Comply with Companyand Project contracting policies and procedures and act within limits ofdelegated authority.
  • Work withengineering, planning, project controls, construction, HSE and quality toensure contractors deliver specified services on-time.
  • Identify, develop andpropose sources, solicit contractors, receive tenders, proposals and associatedsubmissions.  Undertake negotiation ofcontracts, including terms & conditions and pricing and delivery, monitorcontractors' performance, measure work in progress and propose and negotiatechanges to enhance contractors' support to the project.
  • Ensure contractor'sdocumentation, including proposal securities, insurance, bonds and performancesecurities are received in accordance with the contract and are safely stored.
  • Ensure contractordocumentation, including work specification products due in the initialcontract stages which set the parameters of the contractor's performance ofrequirements, are received, reviewed and approved and implemented or revised andapproved to meet the contract, as appropriate.
  • Monitor contractor'sperformance, approve invoices with proper supporting documentation, conductchange negotiations, manage and negotiate claims, maintain contract files,closeout contract when completion has occurred and provide survivingdocumentation to responsible parties.
Previous  experience is essential to securing this position, with demonstrated experience working within the Oil & Gas, Mining or other resources industry.


Qualifications/Experience:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably in law, business administration or similar field
  • 10 years experience in a similar role/industry
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar position, performing the above listed tasks
  • Proficient in the use of computers and commonly used business software
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to discuss, draft and present complexcontractual, legal and pricing issues is required
