We are looking for someone with strong Manufacturing, ERP, and Data Analysis skills for our Information Technology department. In this full-time IT Business Analyst position, you will work with business leaders to improve processes and data analysis across the company. You will participate and lead cross-functional projects, work with multiple technologies, drive continuous improvement, solve difficult business problems, and increase technical knowledge across the organization. Minco is a global provider of thermal, temperature sensing and control solutions, and flex circuit solutions for medical, aerospace, defense, oil and gas, power generation and other high-reliability applications. Our experienced team couples advanced product technologies, expert design and engineering services, and a deep understanding of our customers’ applications to provide comprehensive solutions that meet exacting requirements for quality, reliability and performance.
Improve business processes throughout the company, prioritized by company initiatives
Participate and lead medium to large projects to successful completion.
Support core Minco applications including IFS, ERP, and Microsoft SQL Server Business Intelligence products
- Gather requirements by conducting interviews, work flow analysis, process analysis, and observation sessions to understand business problems
Design solutions using existing and new technologies
Create, update, and follow validation and verification plans
Create cost/benefit scenarios for projects and change requests
Utilize risk management in all activities to ensure success.
- Balance multiple deadlines and prioritize key deliverables
- Solve technical problems and recommend solutions
- Provide training to employees
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business or related field
Minimum of one year of experience in Business Analysis; internship experience considered
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
IFS or comparable ERP system experience
Exceptional organizational and analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with business intelligence and other data analysis projects.
Able to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities
Strong communication skills, (verbal, listening, presentation and written)
Able to apply fundamental information technology principles and practices
Understand database system fundamentals, strong SQL skills.
Understand basics of project management

- Understanding of basic business operations with the ability to learn to solve complex technical issues
